À la fin du 21ème siècle, un métal inestimable appelé "Core" est découvert sur une île mystérieuse et la bataille pour le contrôle commence. La recherche militaire téméraire laisse à l’île une friche en ruines connue sous le nom de «terre rouillée». Maintenant, l’île fourmille de Metal Busters, de méchants robots prêts à tout détruire sur leur passage. Tandis que vous et votre père partent à la recherche d’unités de base précieuses, vous êtes attaqué par un groupe de Metal Busters et séparé. Avec votre compagnon fidèle, Meta Ball, vous devez traverser le dangereux Rouillé et trouver votre ventre avant qu’il ne soit trop tard!
