Le deuxième titre de la série de jeux sur le thème du cerveau de Nintendo. Big Brain Academy est similaire à Programme d’Entrainement Cérébral, en ce sens qu’il contient un certain nombre d’exercices cérébraux.
Il existe cinq différents types de tests cérébraux : la pensée, la mémorisation, le calcul, l’analyse et l’identification. Après chaque quiz, des informations sont fournies au joueur. Y compris le poids du cerveau, ses forces et ses faiblesses, ainsi qu’une proposition de parcours approprié. Le jeu compétitif à huit joueurs est également inclus, où la vitesse ainsi que la capacité cérébrale seront nécessaires pour gagner et trouver qui a le plus gros cerveau.
